Each workspace can have a set of people creating QR codes, viewing analytics, managing templates, and more!

Once you've perfected a QR code design for your brand, you can now save it as a template so it's way quicker to create branded QR codes in the future.

To save a QR code as a template, click the "Edit" button on the QR code from your dashboard, then "Save as template"

Next time you create a code, you'll see that design as a template option. Add your scan destination, select your template, then generate your code!

You now have the option to share QR code analytics for an individual QR code. This is ideal if you are an agency working with clients who also want to track their QR code usage.

You can now add profile photos to vCard QR codes so when people save your contact details they get to see a lovely photo of your face

People have been asking us to add this from day one... better late than never!

You can now select from 2 new QR code "eye" styles. We will be creating more templates to showcase some awesome designs you can now create using these new eye styles.

Previously, when you added a logo to your QR code, it was small and assumed to be square so a square around it was cleared of the QR code modules.

Now you can make the logo round, make it the background of your QR code, or both. This enables some pretty unique designs!

There's now also a "scannability test" you can click to very quickly check if your design is likely to be reliable. This is especially important if you're using a background logo!

This is an experimental feature, but you can now use Hovercode to create artistic AI QR codes.

Describe the art you want to be featured in your QR code, add your link, and generate. It's pretty fun to play around with and sometimes the results are impressive.

As this is integrated with Hovercode, you can enable dynamic features like editing and scan tracking with your fancy new AI QR codes.

You can now use Hovercode to create more types of QR codes. In addition to link QR codes and PDF QR codes, you can now create the following types.

vCard
When people scan these, they can instantly save your contact details.

App Stores
This type of QR code takes the scanner to your app in the Apple App Store or the Android Play Store, depending on the device they are scanning with. No need to create a QR code for each app store anymore!

Send a message
When scanned, this pops up a ready to send SMS message on the scanners phone.

Send an email
When scanned, this pops up a ready to send email on the scanners phone.

Call
When scanned, this prompts the scanner to call a number.

Wifi
This is a fun one. Use a QR code to let people easily connect to your Wifi network. Guests love it.

When we launched you could only see your QR code analytics one QR code at a time. This was helpful for seeing how an individual QR code was performing, but it wasn't convenient for comparing QR codes or campaign performance, especially if you were using multiple QR codes per campaign.

You can now see an overview of how all of your QR codes are performing and you can filter by date range and tag. This makes it so much easier to quickly understand which QR campaigns and QR codes are performing better than others.

Looking to update a QR code you created months ago? Now it's easier to find QR codes with search. Search by display name, link, or tag.

You can now add tags to your QR codes which makes them easier to find and manage.

Create tags for projects, campaigns, or whatever you like. You can use the tags to view stats and analytics for a group of QR codes, generate reports, and more.

You can now generate tens, hundreds, or even thousands of QR codes in one go with Hovercode's now bulk QR code generator.

You can bulk generate static or dynamic QR codes. If you need a whole lot of unique QR codes, this will save you a lot of time. Give it a try and let us know what you think!

We've been asked time and time again if we can support QR codes that don't just open links. PDFs were the most common request of this type, so that's what we tackled first.

We're planning on adding more types soon as well as adding some improvements to how the PDF QR code type works. For now, it works well as an easy way to create QR codes that open PDF files when scanned. What QR codes types should we focus on next? Let us know.

We released a super simple API a few months ago to test the waters. Now that it's been used and we know more about how people expect it to work, we've released V2 of the API with a whole bunch of improvements.

When you get a QR code with the API, you can now see the "total_scans" and "unique_scans" so that you can see how they are performing.

There are also new endpoints for getting a QR codes tracking data, adding tags to QR codes, and more.

We are planning on adding a few more endpoints, so please let us know if you have feedback.

You can now export your activity data as a CSV. If you want to easily analyse your QR code performance, this is ideal for you. You can pick a date range and export your data. The .csv file can be opened in Excel, Sheets etc.

Find this option by clicking "Export" from the dropdown menu in the top-right of your workspace.

You can now bulk export QR codes. You can select a date range, then click export. You'll get an email when your export is ready. It's a .zip file containing .png images of all the QR codes you wanted exported. This is super useful if you are working with tens or hundreds of codes.
